A good book

It's Saturday again - where does the week go to? This week's Sepia Saturday prompt is about books and readers of books.
Although the image comes under the heading of 'book as photo prop' rather than active reading, I think she looks like the sort of young lady that enjoys getting stuck into a good book.

More books and reading over at Sepia Saturday.

She looks very content and comfortable with her book, which
must be why the photographer posed
her in this position. Nice choice.

I've a chair with a back like that in my office. The book pages look very thick almost as if it is an album of some sort.

I like this picture. She might be a college student, judging by that blouse. It looks more school-ish than dressy.

Lovely photo. Perhaps she chose the book as a prop because of her love of reading.

Very nice picture! I believe I see a somewhat quizzical look. But that may be my wild imagination.

She probably wouldn't choose to be photographed with a book unless she liked books and reading. She makes me think of a teacher.

You certainly get the feeling that she might have been more interested in the words than the photographic session. I know the feeling : when forced to play Pass The Parcel at family parties I always finish up reading the torn up sheets of old newspaper.

It's fun to try and read her mind; I think it is elsewhere - perhaps on the young fellow she met in the candy-store down the street from the photographer's studio.

She does have a dreamy expression. Books as a prop strike me as rather odd. How did they stop themselves from reading them while holding those poses?

A good choice for the theme. She has the look of a scholar so I'd guess a graduation photo. Is it a postcard?

Yes, it's a postcard.
