Seaside Faces

On the reverse: "Jackson's Faces", Great Yarmouth, Gorleston & Lowestoft.

One of the many seaside street photographers, Jacksons specialised in taking walking photographs (known as walkies) as well as groups of people on charabancs and pleasure steamers. Brett Payne at Photo-Sleuth has some lovely examples of walkies on his blog, including some by Jacksons.

I always enjoy seeing these large groups of people looking at the photographer, and then noticing who was not looking, and just what were they doing! like the lady with the map? Newspaper? Great photo !!!
