It seems appropriate to post a military image on
Remembrance Sunday which this year falls on
Armistice Day. This is one of the many First World War 'orphan' soldiers in my collection - there's no information at all on the reverse, not even the name of the photographer, but his cap badge identifies him as a
Royal Fusilier.
