Love's enchanted fairyland

Sepia Saturday has gone rather lovey-dovey this week and I'm on theme with this sentimental little number posted in 1914.
Till We Meet Again
To part would be too keen a pain,
Did we not hope to meet again,
Again to wander hand in hand,
Through love's enchanted fairyland.

Much, much more of the same over at Sepia Saturday.

Sentimental indeed. I wondr where you find the cards you show us each week.

Incidentally your link on SS156 does not work; it only takes you back to the SS156 page.

And that's a lovey-dovey post card Marshall picked out for Miss Murphy. Pretty one, for sure. (By the way, your link on SS takes us back to SS rather than here.)

Thanks Wendy & Bob - I've added the correct link now!

Lovey dovey can be wonderful. At least that's what I recall.

So that what SS is; Sentimental Slush.

Now I'm in my dotage I can get very sentimental and slushy.

Very romantic. Love the card.

Ah romance. You know how I like a bit of romance and a happy ending.

The front of the card has to say it all because the back writing is a bit lacking in passion.

The poor fellow is not very good at this, missing her mouth by a mile. I think we now know why they're hiding behind a screen.

Sentimental, yes, but a gloomy (or is it gloaming?) illustration. And I looked for the face in the window too!

Yes, the image was suitably lovey-dovey, but wasn't the written message on the card so prosaic?
