Hair is this week's Sepia Saturday theme. This chap's carefully waxed moustache took my fancy, as well as his immaculately coiffed hairstyle.
Written on the reverse "Your Affectionate Son, P. Lennon". You can find out about more splendid moustaches and their history and cultivation here.
Lots more hairy posts over at Sepia Saturday!

There is a little curl in his hair...
The "Mustache Mystery" in your link is well worth reading.
This is how I picture "The Great Gildersleeve" looking on the old time radio show.
That's a huge moustache. Makes him look very self important.

Handlebars for sure, he did a fine job of keeping it perfect.
Postcardy is right, clicking on and reading your Moustache Mystery was delightful, and great photos with it. Thanks.
That is a great photo, and I loved how he signed it.

Thanks for the link to the Great Mustache Mystery - a fascination history.
You Mr Lennon has a middle-age spread; in my case it's just my chest that has dropped a bit.
That moustache fits him.
A fearsome 'stache indeed but the curl in his forelock makes him just a big teddybear.
He looks very formidable with a fine mustache. The mustache and hair fashion look ridiculous today. What's in today is out tomorrow, that's fashion.
Don't know how men or their wives endured those large moustaches. So glad the styles have changed and my husband is clean shaven. :)
He seems a 'larger than life' character! I wouldn't want a bear hug from him. Interesting link too.
That's quite the tickler on his upper lip; but his hair is what amused me the most!! Too much!!
:D~

A splendid moustache, but the hairdo cracked me up when I enlarged the photo :-) Jo
He looks like some sort of wonderful character actor. Oh to know the story of his life.
That looks the perfect moustache for a villain to twirl if he is an actor as Tattered and Lost says, wonder if his mother curls his hair. Entertaining link for the Great Moustache mystery.
